It has emerged that a new ‘performance oriented’ Land Rover Range Rover Evoque will make its public debut at the fast approaching Geneva Motor Show 2014.

Land Rover will introduce the Autobiography moniker to the Evoque for the first time with the soon to be launched performance oriented Autobiography Dynamic, which would be powered by a 285PS turbocharged engine and would boast of an optimised chassis for sharper handling.
The Autobiography Dynamic will sport Evoque’s 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, with an upgraded power of 285PS and peak torque of 400Nm (45PS and 60Nm increase). Mated to the engine would be the much publicized 9-speed ZF transmission.
Active driveline will come as standard equipment on the Autobiography Dynamic. Active driveline four wheel drive system improves traction, enhances agility and improves fuel efficiency by engaging four-wheel drive seamlessly and automatically when required.
The steering of the Autobiography Dynamic has been specially tuned for additional on-centre precision; the chassis also features upgraded suspension geometry, firmer spring rates and recalibrated adaptive dampers, increasing agility and turn-in response. The new variant will also boast of upgraded 350mm front brake discs and a standard Torque Vectoring by Braking (TVB) system.
Speaking ahead of the official world premiere for the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic at the Geneva Motor Show, Murray Dietsch, Director of Land Rover Programmes, said: “The introduction of Land Rover InControlTM Apps together with the new range-topping Autobiography Dynamic, takes the Range Rover Evoque’s core strengths a step further, bringing increased connectivity, desirability, luxury and dynamic ability to the already successful line-up.”
The Autobiography Dynamic boasts of a new grille design, lower front valance, jewel-like headlights and tail lamps and 20-inch forged alloy wheels. On the inside, the Autobiography Dynamic is equipped with a new leather upholstery and customers will be given an option to choose from a dynamic plus leather interior with either sports or premium climate seats and a choice of four colours.
