Ford EcoSport can be yours for just INR 5.59 lakhs

The much awaited Ford EcoSport has finally been launched in India.

Ford dealerships across the nation have been registering bookings for the much publicized compact crossover since some time now and the deliveries of the car will begin today! The buyers of the Ford EcoSport in India get as many as three engine variants to choose from-

The base engine variant of EcoSport will be powered by the same 1.5 litre normally aspirated petrol engine that powers the India spec Fiesta sedan. The 1.5 litres petrol engine can be ordered with either a 5 speed manual or a 6 speed automatic transmission.
The diesel engine variant, and the one that would bring the volumes, will be powered by the Fiesta’s 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine.
The second petrol engine variant will be powered by the much publicized Ford EcoBoost 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine. ONLY MT for EcoBoost.

The Ford EcoSport has been launched with 7 color options- Diamond White, Panther Black, Sea Grey, Chill, Moondust Silver, Kinetic Blue and Mars Red.

The high end Titanium-spec variants comes feature laden with stuff like Smart Keyless entry and Push Button Start. The SYNC emergency system will come in the top two variants. The two top of the line variants will also get a CD/MP3 player and a 3.5-inch multifunction display.
