Shared passenger vehicles are no longer expected to be basic people movers. Buyers now look for better comfort, more safety and useful technology for long journeys. Keeping this shift in mind, Force Motors has introduced the new Urbania Deluxe in India. The latest model replaces the earlier Urbania in the premium shared mobility range and brings a stronger engine, upgraded interiors and several new features. Prices start at Rs 28.7 lakh (ex showroom).
New Mercedes derived diesel engine
The biggest mechanical update comes under the bonnet. The Urbania Deluxe now gets a 2.6 litre four cylinder turbo diesel engine derived from Mercedes-Benz. It produces 134 hp and 350 Nm of torque, making it more powerful than the previous model. The engine is paired with a 5 speed manual gearbox.
