Force Motors to introduce India’s First 7 Door MUV

Force Trax Giraffe

Rural India will soon get to experience limousine travel, courtesy Force Motors, who’s busy testing the “Giraffe”, an extended wheelbase version of the Trax Toofan Classic MUV.  The new version is expected to be longer than the Toofan by around 400mm; and also packs a couple of extra doors, making it India’s first 7 door MUV.

The Trax range currently spawns the Gama, Cruiser, Toofan and the Ambulance. The Toofan, the longest of the lot, has a wheelbase of 3,050 mm, and officially seats 12. The new “Giraffe” will seat more. Much more. And that’s not counting the population that’ll find their way on the roof and window sills. 15 should be a good, official bet.

The desi Pullman, with no real competitor is expected to come with the wheezy 2600cc, 60bhp engine found in other Trax variants. However, on the inside, there’ll be heated seats, quad-zone climate control, two 42″ LED displays, a mini bar, Nappa leather upholstery and a Jacuzzi at the back.

Wonder if they were too lazy to build a bus.
