Chevrolet had initiated the dream journey for a Manchester United Fan from Hyderabad,India to Old Trafford,England; the home ground of the Manchester United football club. Chevrolet Fan Cup Contest winner Bharath Singh scored a goal, becoming one of the first Indians ever to score at the Old Trafford Stadium. The objective of the contest is to celebrate the passion of Manchester United fans across the globe by turning their dreams into reality.
The winner was selected through the contest on Chevrolet India’s website, encouraging fans of Manchester United to answer “How Do You Celebrate after a Goal?” with a celebration picture of their own. The most eye-catching entry was selected along with a companion for an experience at Old Trafford.
The winner, Bharath Singh, 25, from Hyderabad is a Manchester United supporter. An MNC employee, he is also the working committee member of the Manchester United Supporters Club in Hyderabad. He got to play a football tournament and a chance to be coached by Manchester United Legends apart from playing a match on the Old Trafford pitch where he scored the goal. The winner was also given a glimpse the Manchester history with a tour of the football museum.
