A fresh report by Autocar India indicates that the first bike ever from the much discussed BMW TVS alliance could be a streetbike that would be powered by a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine displacing about 300cc. While not much more is known about the upcoming TVS motorcycle, it is being said that the new motorcycle will go into production towards end 2015 or maybe towards early 2016. However, there are good chances that the upcoming model will go on sale under TVS moniker, with the bike benefiting from enough inputs from BMW Motorrad.
The development of a 300cc street motorcycle for Indian and international markets comes across as a great newa as not just hardcore TVS aficionados who had so far been carrying a droopy face due to the lack of exciting product launches from the Hosur based South Indian bike maker, but also to bike enthusiasts in India in general.
