Tata Motors is certainly not enjoying the best of the times presently. Some months back, we saw Tata Motors being overtaken by the auto sector of Mahindra and sales of models like that of the Aria have been nothing short of dismal. Also, the popular Indica/Indigo range of cars from Tata is fast getting dated and Tata Motors urgently needs to come up with refreshed/all-models to keep the buzz around its products.

We feel that Tata Motors does realize this. What else explains the upcoming Tata Nano, Indigo eCS and the Aria facelifts?

Now, it has emerged that also in the pipeline is a comprehensively updated Vista hatchback. It may be noted that the Vista hatchbacki is easily the most well sorted out hatchback to have ever come from Tata Motors and a refreshed variant might see the upper B segment hatchback having a better showing on the sales charts.

Seen here is a spy shot of the upcoming Vista facelift. This test mule was spotted testing a member of Team-BHP.com. The car that was spotted wore a heavy camouflage, thereby hinting at the fact that the car might be thoroughly re-skinned. It is being said that the car might borrow design cues from the Manza hybrid concept that was seen at the Delhi Auto Expo last year and this means that the car would come with a new set of headlights and a new front grill and bumper combo. At the rear, the car will sport new taillamps and a slightly revised hatch-door. The car might also come with new front fenders and hood.

All the variants of the Vista could come with the Manza’s dashboard and an upholstery change. Powertrains are likely to remain the same.
