Fiat India organized a rally for its customers in Pune. The rally started from the Vits hotel located close to the Balewadi Sports Complex and went all the way to Fiat’s plant in Ranjangaon, where the Fiat customers were treated with a visit to the company’s plant.
On a rather cool Friday morning, more than 125 ardent fiat fans gave up their morning sleep to drive down from Mumbai, and Pune city to converge and show their love for their cars and the Italian brand. Some of the Fiat owners also drove down from the cities of New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Trivandrum to participate – hats off to their passion for their ride.
It was nice to see our very own Navendu Singh (also a MotoRep for Pune) at the event. I Hope he puts up a detailed log on our forums. The participants had their breakfast at Vits hotel and were then flagged off by Fiat India Automobiles President Rajeev Kapoor. Some Fiat customers wanted to pose with the affable gentleman, and the Mr. Kapoor was happy to help.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Kapoor said, “We are glad to see the Fiat fans coming together to be a part of this occasion. This reflects the love and trust Fiat commands; we hope to build on this affection to take Fiat to scaling new heights in the coming days”
Quite a few interesting mod-jobs were also a part of the Rally. The main attraction, however, was a red coloured Punto, with the bonnet done up in black graphics, a subtle, yet sport body kit applied, and a super sounding FOCAL music system taking up all the space in the boot, and providing the much required music.
There is a collection of pictures from this event on the next page. And in case you were a part of the event, we invite you to post comments, and join our forums and talk about your experience. Also, we would love it if Navendu, or some other member could share with us the pictures from the Ranjangaon Plant Visit.
