The Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione has been launched in India; with prices starting from INR 29.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Abarth 595 will compete with the Mini Cooper S and will be imported into the country as a CBU.
The 595 Competizione is a 3-door hot hatchback powered with a 1.4 L T-Jet, petrol engine producing 160 PS of power, taking the car from 0-100 in just 7.6 seconds. The maximum torque generated is 230 Nm@2750 – 3000 RPM with the top speed estimated to be around 210 kmph.
The exterior designing is based the Fiat 500 Cinquecento, but has been stoked with more rage. Constructed primarily with steel, the 595 Competizione comes with Abarth badges, aggressive bumpers, graphite/gloss black finished door handles, wing mirrors & front grille.

The pint sized terror measures 3657 mm long, 1627 mm wide and 1485 mm tall and rides on large 17 inch alloy wheels wrapped with sticky 205/40 Pirelli P Zero tyres. Responsible for proactive deceleration are perforated and ventilated brake discs all around. Additionally, on the features list, the Abarth 595 Competizione is provided with an infotainment system, Xenon headlamps, rear parking sensors and a performance Monza exhaust system
Like the 500, the interiors of the 595 are a mix of the retro and the modern. Highlights include a small, leather wrapped with multifunction buttons, bright round dials and sporty, hand stitched leather seats seats. The 595 launched in India comprises AMT transmission with paddle shifts mounted on the steering wheel. The 595 is equipped with two driving modes, normal and sport.

The Abarth 595 Competizione will be available in four colours – Iridato White, Scorpione Black, Cordolo Red and Campovolo Grey. The car will be available at select FIAT dealers in five Indian cities namely New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru.
