Not everyone can afford to own the Italian Marvel called Ferrari. However, next year will bring good news for both Ferrari owners as well as non owners with the opening of Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi. Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi will be the world’s biggest Ferrari theme park. The theme park will boast of a huge roof covering about 200,000sqm which will be accompanied by the largest (65m x 48.5m) Ferrari logo ever created.
The theme park will include a variety of ‘attractions,’ amongst which, one will be the world’s fastest rollercoaster. The rollercoaster will be able to manage zooming speeds of more than 200kmph.
The park has been designed by Jack Rouse Associates and will be located on the Yas Islands, a 10 minute drive from the Abu Dhabi International Airport, 30 minutes from the city of Abu Dhabi, ad 50 minutes from Dubai.
This move made by Ferrari might not be too surprising, since recently, an addition to the board of directors was made with the inclusion of a member from Abu Dhabi. Chairman of the Mubadala financing group from Abu Dhabi, Mr. Khaldoon Al Mubarak, is the first Arab ever to become a member of the Ferrari board.
