Dimensions of the new Verna
The all-new Hyundai Verna shares its underpinnings with its siblings like the i20, Creta, Venue, and Alcazar as it is based on the K2 platform. The new Verna measures 4.5m long and 1.76m wide, providing sumptuous legroom and shoulder room to the passengers with its 2.67m long wheelbase. Furthermore, the Verna has been widened by 36mm and its wheelbase has been extended by 70mm, ensuring the utmost comfort for its passengers. In essence, the new Verna is all set to provide an enhanced comfort and driving experience.
Sensuous and Sleek Design
The all-new Hyundai VERNA is designed to portray the charm of sophistication. Upfront it features a sporty hood and elongated LED daytime running lights running across the width of the car. The tri-beam LED headlamps and a bold front grille with a gloss black finish gives it a sporty appeal. Meanwhile in the side profile is a sporty fastback silhouette and the striking 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the aesthetics of Verna is magnified by the LED taillights that are connected via a light bar running across the tailgate, slim bumpers with black cladding, and a faux skid plate. Interior and Features
On the interior, the new Verna features a futuristic design. Buyers can choose from different theme options: – dual-tone beige & black and black with red accents for the T-GDi variant. The new Verna is ready with segment-first features like switchable type AC and infotainment buttons and ventilated seats. The comfort of the Hyundai Verna is accentuated by the leather upholstery with premium materials giving it an upmarket feel. Powertrain Options
The new Hyundai Verna is available in a range of powertrain choices. The base powertrain is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor that produces 115 hp of power and 144 Nm of torque. This motor can be matched with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an IVT transmission. Nonetheless, the genuine gem is the 1.5-liter four-cylinder T-GDI turbo petrol powertrain that delivers an incredible 160ps of power and 253 Nm of torque. This motor is available with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT transmission. Hyundai has tuned the new powertrains to comply with upcoming emission norms. Unfortunately, Hyundai has decided not to include a diesel engine option for this latest generation of the Verna.

Hyundai has priced the Verna in a sweet price range of 10.90-17.38 Lakhs Ex-showroom. The new Verna has 3 years or unlimited km of the standard warranty. However, the warranty can be extended up to 7 years.
