Pagani Huayra

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly bought Pagani Huayra

What would you have done if you were worth USD 30 billion? Buy a big house, check. Get married, check. Drive around in a Volkswagen Golf GTI. Wait, WHAT!

Shocker, isn’t it?

Well, that’s the story of Facebook CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg became the youngest billionaire in the world, but, has been travelling in really subtle vehicles like Honda Fit, Acura TSX and Volkswagen Golf GTI.

Now, however, we think he plans to be the fastest billionaire on road! Reports have surfaced over the internet which say that Zuckerberg will likely be one of the first American customers of the Pagani Huayra Hypercar.

Pagani Huayra

A few weeks back, we reported that Pagani expects 40% of the total production to be consumed by the United States making it the largest geographic market for Pagani brand. The Italian car maker has managed to get through the US vehicle import regulations as six dealers have already been announced. Two out of the six dealers have been located in California which happens to be the same state where Facebook’s headquarter is located.

Zuckerberg who has been spotted driving regular cars is likely to take home the new Pagani Huayra Hypercar. The Huayra is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 which has been sourced from Mercedes-AMG and is capable of producing 730 hp. All this power propels the Huayra from naught to 100 kph in little over three seconds and has a top speed of about 372 kmph.

We wish him luck for jumping into a hypercar like Pagani Huayra after driving the Volkswagen Golf GTI and hope he does not scrape the USD 1.3 million worth machine.
