Ducati Multistrada V2 Set To Launch On 25th April!

Ducati is well known for its Multistrada series, from 950cc to 1200cc ADV tourers Ducati has achieved quite a good following. Now, Ducati has decided that they will launch the Ducati Multistrada V2 as a replacement for the entry-level Multistrada 950. However, it will be paired with the same 950cc engine. The new Ducati Multistrada V2 is set to launch on 25th April.

What’s new?

From the front, the Multistrada doesn’t make any difference when compared to the outgoing Ducati Multistrada 950. It has got the same front beefy, sharp, and aggressive design. The Design takes inspiration from its bigger sibling the Ducati Multistrada 1260 and is fitted with some elements like the large windshield, and flared air-intake.

The only change is the graphics of V2 on the fairing. Overall the design has been revised. From the side, the bike looks heightened and touring focused. The seat height is 830mm now which can be lowered up to 790-mm. The ground clearance is 220mm which is indeed great for off-roading. The front tire size is 19-inch which helps in increasing of approach angle and better handling.

Powertrain

It uses the same 937cc Testastretta 11-degree V-twin Euro 4 engine which is tuned to deliver 111 bhp of power and 96Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle comes with four riding modes: Touring, Sport, Urban, and Enduro. There are some changes done to the clutch and gearbox for more refinement and smoothness. The weight of the bike is also reduced by 5kgs. The legroom is more than adequate now, thanks to the new positioning of the footpeg.

Features

The Ducati Multistrada will be equipped with a Digital 5-inch TFT Instrument cluster, and as a comfort feature, the bike will be equipped with cruise control. The safety features include Vehicle Hold Control, Traction Control, Cornering ABS, and Cornering Light. The Bike also comes equipped with a Quick Shifter known as Ducati Quick Shift and Down.

Suspension and brakes

The Ducati Multistrada V2 is equipped with 170mm travel 48mm diameter upside-down adjustable front suspension. The brakes are featured with the M4-32 Monobloc Radial calipers with 32mm diameter 4 pistons and two pads paired with 320mm dual discs with aluminum flanges. The rear has a 265mm single disc with a floating caliper.
