Ducati India Launches The New Streetfighter V4 SP At ₹34.99 Lakhs

Ducati on Monday launched the Streetfighter V4 SP in India. This new Streetfighter is said to be the most adrenaline-pumping naked till now. The Streetfighter V4 SP is available in India with a price tag of ₹34.99 Lakh (Ex-Showroom India), it will be produced at the Borgo Panigale plant. The SP in Street Fighter V4 SP stands for sports production. The model is made on special technical equipment to combine the “Fight Formula” with the “SP” specifications. Ducati’s “winter test” livery was inspired by Corse motorcycles ridden in MotoGP and SBK Championships pre-season tests.

Design

The look of Streetfighter V4 SP is enhanced with The Matte Black of the fairings mixed with the Matte Carbon finish of wings, with the bright red accents and the sparkling brushed aluminum tank to provide a contrast and eye-catching look. The new Borgo Panigale comes with a progressive number printed on the handlebar and the Italian flag colour scheme on the carbon wings to add details.

With dedicated livery, premium equipment derived from the Superleggera V4, and a restrained curb weight: of 196.5 kg in running order, The Streetfighter V4 SP now has a 2.5 kg less compared to the Streetfighter V4. To make the bike more agile and lighter while changing direction, it comes with Marchesini forged magnesium wheels, 0.9 kg lighter than the forged aluminum ones fitted as standard on the Streetfighter V4 S and it reduces the inertia by 26% at the front and 46% at the rear.

Powertrain

This new ride is powered by a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale producing 208 hp and a torque of 123 Nm at 9,500 rpm. It is equipped with STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, to guarantee a better anti-hopping function even aggressive downshifts and greater fluidity during all “off-throttle” stages. Pushing the limits on track it comes with a 90°-V4 layout engine with Desmodromic distribution MotoGP-derived, with rare gems as the counter-rotating crankshaft and “Twin Pulse” firing order.

While the Brembo Stylema R® front brake callipers deliver uncommon braking power. The other features include Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 with the event-based system with biplane wings to change the damping according to the rider’s riding style, deliver the best performance in sporty use and increase Rider’s confidence.

Features

The Streetfighter V4 SP also comes equipped with adjustable aluminum and CNC machined foot pegs, the carbon front mudguard, the lithium-ion battery, and a range of Ducati accessories suitable for the “track days”. And The latest-generation electronics package on the Street Fighter V4 SP comes with a 6-axis Inertial Unit (6D IMU – Inertial Measurement Unit) which instantaneously detects the bike’s roll, yaw, and pitch angle in space.

Additional tech includes controls to manage all riding phases, from the start to acceleration and braking, traction, through the corners and out such as ABS Cornering Bosch EVO,  DTC, DWC, DSC or EBC, which are quickly adjusted via the left switch cube. The bike is easy to lay into the corner and gets to the apex faster and provides stability at high speeds. It can also be a good choice for beginners.
