Customised TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Adventure Tourer is a one-off example from Indonesia

TVS Apache 200 Adventure tourer may sound like a game changer and a potent competitor for the Bajaj Pulsar AS200 and the Karizma R. Sadly though we would have to pull you down from the seventh heaven and bring your feet back to mother earth as this particular model is a one-off, customised motorcycle which has been imagined and brought to life by a custom house in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The motorcycle was snapped by Indonesian motoring portal Iwanbanaran in South Jakarta where the motorcycle was being carried in a pick-up truck. The motoring portal confirms that the motorcycle in the images is based upon the new 2016 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V FI model. But this adventure tourer is more than just a fairing added Apache.

The naked roadster look is replaced by a touring friendly setup with the addition of a tall windscreen and a semi-fairing upfront – installed by tweaking the fuel tank. A 12v power supply has been installed next to the instrument cluster on the fairing and should come handy to charge your cellphone or other electronic devices. What’s surprising though is that frame which gets a “Deltabox” sticker. We aren’t sure if it is a Deltabox frame or a brushed fibre cladding to enhance the visuals. A pair of knuckleguards are a nifty addition to the front.

The touring capabilities are further enhanced by the Givi panniers at the rear. The pillion seat and grab bars have not been modified and the motorcycle continues to use the stock factory setup. There is something fishy about that swingarm though. It may seem to be an aftermarket accessory we feel that it is be a fibre panel strapped upon the stock unit. We are not sure if there are any mechanical upgrades.

Overall, it’s a commendable attempt to turn the naked roadster into a adventure tourer. Do you agree? Share your views about this one-off TVS Apache Adventure Tourer with us through the comments section below.
