There is no denying that the Jeep Wrangler is easily among the most iconic of all SUVs out there. The Jeep has been through several ups and downs but is currently going great guns. The famous SUV maker recently produced 1 millionth Wrangler JK unit at Chrysler Group’s Toledo (Ohio) Assembly Complex.

The One millionth Wrangler JK is a black 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition and was driven out of the assembly line in a special ceremony which was attended by Mauro Pino, Vice President of Vehicle Assembly Operations at Chrysler Group. The event was also attended by Dan Henneman, Jeep Unit Chairman of UAW Local 12.

The Toledo facility has been producing Wranglers since more than 6 years and the plant will also start churning out the new Cherokee later this year. “The Toledo workforce understands that the Jeep brand’s success is directly related to the quality of their work,” said Henneman. “They continue to rise to the challenge of meeting the demand for one of the most recognized sport-utility vehicles worldwide and demonstrating their commitment to millions of Jeep enthusiasts.”
