2013 Petri Corse Motorsport Porsche Panamera

Porsches can easily be termed as the manufacturer of few of the most track focussed road going cars on this planet. However, the German carmaker realizes that a large section of Porsches hardly ever see a track in their lifetime and are bought more for their flamboyance. Keeping in mind the same, Porsche came up with the Panamera- the only 4 door saloon in the German car maker’s product portfolio.

Now, the Panamera was developed to cater to a certain section of luxury car buyers who wanted an amalgam of the luxury associated with limousines and the sportiness of a 911. While the Panamera has always been regarded as one of the sportier luxury sedans on sale, no one thought that this car would sweat it out on a racetrack.

Until, the Porsche Panamera made its debut in the Superstars International series in 2010, at the hands of Fabrizion Giovanardi. Unsurprisingly, the car scored as many as four wins. Now, the car is back with more power and mechanical updates for the 2013 Superstars International Series. Powered by a 4.8-liter V8, the 2013 model has more power and a re-tuned chassis.

The Petri Corse Motorsport Porsche Panamera will make its debut on April 7 in Monza, Italy, where it will compete in the first race of the 2013 Superstars International Series.
