The entire world took notice when Lamborghini unveiled its Veneno supercar. The Veneno won plenty of rave reviews for its supercool design and unparalleled performance. Now, just when we thought that the Veneno could be the most stylish bull of present years, it has emerged that Lamborghini could soon get busy with the development of the Veneno Roadster.

Powering the Lamborghini Roadster would be the same 6.5-liter V12 engine that is found on the Veneno Coupe. The Aventador sourced engine has a max power of 750 hp and the coupe can dismiss 100 kmph from zero in just 2.8 seconds. The Veneno Coupe has a top whack of 355 kmph.

Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann recently told Car and Driver in an interview that the Italian performance car manufacturer will build a small number of roadsters based on the Veneno hypercar that was launched at the Geneva auto show earlier this year.

It may be noted that Lamborghini built only 3 units of the Veneno Coupe, each with a price tag of just 3 million euros and this means that the production of the roadster too could be really limited and safely expect an even higher price tag. However, there have been some rumours which say that Lamborghini could build nine units of the Veneno roadster, definitely more than the number of Veneno Coupes it made. Those interested should grab their phone to contact the nearest Lamborghini dealer as soon as they have finished reading the above few sentences.

It is being said that the Veneno Roadster might never be shown to the public and find itself headed directly to the ultra rich customers.
