The car has clearly undergone some serious cosmetic changes in the front, which now sports an aggressive, oversized grille. This grille design is gradually becoming the hallmark of new Chevys worldwide and, in India, features on the Cruze and the Beat. The overall front look, which includes restyled headlamps, is somewhat similar to the Mitsubishi Outlander. There are some subtle changes to the interiors as well.
The updated Captiva will sport a new 184bhp, 2.2-litre motor which will help improve refinement levels and power delivery. It will also feature upgrades to the cabin insulation, with much less engine noise and vibration.
The new Captiva is expected to hit Indian shores around January next year.
