We reported in detail when the Honda CBR250R Repsol Limited Edition was launched in the country. The CBR250R has been on sale in the country since June this year and while the baby CBR, bestowed with the famous Repsol colours, haven’t exactly been successful in fending off the high heat levels due to the advent of the KTM 390 Duke, it has certainly found a favor among certain sections of bike aficionados in the country.

Earlier, it was being said that the Repsol Limited edition variant will be on sale only till the end of last month. However, the advent of this offer means that the limited edition variant will continue to be on sale for sometime more. Maybe, the offer has been launched in a bid to get rid of the remaining stocks of the bike.

Honda wants us to believe that the paint job on this special edition variant has been inspired by that of the Honda Repsol team’s MotoGP bike- the RC 213V. Other than the a race bike inspired race scheme, the bike doesn’t gets any other upgrades and remains mechanically unchanged..

The 2013 edition CBR 250R Repsol Limited Edition is priced at INR 1.92 lakhs (ex showroom, New Delhi).

The Repsol Edition is available only in C-ABS variant. Honda claims that the CBR250R is the only bike in its class to have the Combined Anti-lock Braking System.

The Honda CBR 250R Repsol Limited Edition is powered by a 250cc, four stroke, liquid-cooled, single pot motor that has a max power of 26BHP and peak torque of 22.9 Nm. The engine benefits from a DOHC head and PGM-FI technology.
