The highly anticipated Bajaj Pulsar SS 200, which is basically a faired variant of the 200NS, is powered by the same engine that powers the street naked model. However, for the SS 200, it is likely to get fuel injection, along with a slight bump in the power. There are good chances that the engine would have a max power of 25PS and peak torque of around 20 Nm. The motor will come mated to a six speed manual transmission. Suspension duties on the bike will be courtesy telescopic forks up front and a mono-suspension at the rear. There are good chances that ABS would be offered, at least as an option. The bike will have a digital speedo console, high set clip ons and ergonomics that should be loved by the proverbial tourers.

It is highly likely that the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar SS 200 price will be around the INR 1.2 lakhs mark and the new bike will become a direct rival to the Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR150R.
