BMW to launch X3 xDrive28i next year

BMW is planning to come up with a budget variant of its popular X3 SUV. The upcoming variant will be called the X3 xDrive 28i and will sport a new engine.  Beneath the hood of the 2013 X3 xDrive28i will be a 2.0L turbocharged four cylinder gasoline engine that will pump out 241 horses & 260 lb/ft of torque and the motor will be mated to an eight speed automatic transmission. The SUV will make the X3 more affordable and reduce the price gap between the X3 and the entry level X1 SUV.
