We had previously reported that BMW Motorrad will make its official debut in India on April 14, 2017. A new report now suggests that the motorcycle division of the Bavarian manufacturer will begin its operations in the country with three dealerships across the country.
The three BMW showrooms will be located in the cities of Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. The Mumbai dealership, which will reportedly be inaugurated on April 12, 2017, would be located at New Link Road in Andheri West. This showroom would be operated by Navnit Motors, a company that has been privately importing BMW motorcycles in India since a long time.

Bavaria Motors, which will operate the Pune dealership, would be inaugurated on April 14 followed by the opening of the Bangalore dealership. The showroom in Bangalore will be operated by Tusker motorcycles. Although unconfirmed, it is said that BMW Motorrad is expected to open the next showroom in the Delhi-NCR region.
Coming to the range of motorcycles, BMW Motorrad will launch its high-capacity range of bikes such as the R1200, K1600, R NineT, S1000R and the S1000RR. The company is likely to introduce the G 310 R in India later this year. Stay tuned for updates.
