Regulars at Motoroids would remember that BMW Motorrad does not plan to bring the G 310 R to India any time soon. All is not lost though, as the motorcycling arm of the Bavarian manufacturer plans to officially launch higher capacity models to India.
We had previously reported that BMW Motorrad will make its debut in India with the launch of the K-1600, R-1200, R-NineT and the S 1000 series. While there is no official confirmation about the upcoming models, invites have been sent to current and prospective customers regarding a launch in the city of Pune on April 14, 2017.

Reports suggests that the initial product portfolio of BMW Motorrad in India will comprise of models including the R1200 GS, K1600, R NineT R Nine T Scrambler, S1000 R and the S1000 RR. The launch will take place at new dedicated BMW Motorrad showroom in Pune.
For those of you waiting for the G 310 R, worry not, as BMW Motorrad is likely to launch the naked roadster later this year. This launch would be followed by the debut of its adventure tourer sibling, the G 310 GS, which is likely to take place early next year. Stay tuned as we get you more details soon!
