In India, BMW Motorrad launches its eagerly anticipated training programme, GS Experience 2023. Riders will get a one-of-a-kind chance to experience the iconic GS line from BMW Motorrad, which leads its class, in its native environment, thanks to the GS Experience. The GS Experience is a two-day training event that has been specially crafted for BMW adventure motorcycle riders.
For GS enthusiasts in 11 cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Kochi, Bengaluru, and Lucknow, BMW Motorrad will organise this two-day comprehensive brand experience.
The two-day level 1 programme, which is especially for BMW GS owners, will assist riders in learning the fundamentals of off-road riding. The day 1 training course is for 650 cc and larger BMW GS motorcycle owners. Day 2 is for BMW 310 GS riders only. Basic motorcycle knowledge, knowledge of the proper rider position, enduro steering, and other exercises like gravel riding, emergency stops on slopes, emergency braking, and riding uphill are all part of the training. After successfully completing level 1, riders are automatically eligible for level 2 training.
The GS Experience training also serves as an introduction to the national hunt for “Team India,” a group of three GS riders who will compete as a team for the coveted International GS Trophy. Namibia has recently been named as the next stop for the International GS Trophy in 2024, according to BMW Motorrad. The GS Trophy qualifying rounds will be held later this year by BMW Motorrad India.
The GS Experience demonstrates the dynamic features of each GS model in practical settings and teaches ways for enjoying the GS Spirit while maintaining the highest level of safety. The riders will be taken through the astonishing array of innovations available on the GS range of motorcycles during each session, which also includes a briefing and demonstration by a licenced BMW Motorrad Trainer. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, the lessons provide riding practise on a combination of bitumen and off-road.
