BMW Group’s MINI has unveiled the MINI Shadow Edition in India, marking its launch at an ex-showroom price of INR 49,00,000. This limited edition model, produced locally at the BMW Group Plant Chennai, celebrates MINI’s enduring partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) as the Official Partner of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023
MINI Shadow Edition
The MINI Shadow Edition boasts unique exterior features, including Shadow Edition Bonnet Scoop decals, Front Fender decals, Side Scuttles, Door Entry Sills, and Shadow Edition Stickers on the roof above C-pillars. It rides on sporty 18-inch Grip Spoke Alloy Wheels and showcases the John Cooper Works Aerodynamics Kit. Inside, the cabin features Leather Chester Malt Brown Upholstery, Electric Seat Adjustment for Driver and Front Passenger, a Panorama Sunroof, Wired Package, Apple CarPlay®, Multifunctional Instrument Display, and Harman Kardon Hi-Fi Sound System as standard.
Inside, the MINI Shadow Edition offers MINI Yours Interior Style Shaded Silver and Leather Chester Malt Brown upholstery. The ambient lighting, part of the MINI Excitement Pack, bathes the cockpit in selectable colors and projects the MINI logo from the exterior mirror when the car door is opened or closed.

Under the hood, the MINI Shadow Edition is powered by a 2.0 L 4-cylinder petrol engine with TwinPower Turbo Technology. It delivers an impressive output of 178 hp at 5,000 – 6,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 280 Nm at 1,350 – 4,600 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hr in 7.5 seconds and boasts a top speed of 225 km/hr. The 7-Speed Double Clutch Steptronic Sport Transmission with paddle shifters enhances driving performance.

At the rear, three full-fledged seats ensure comfort for passengers. The car’s boot capacity can be expanded from 450 liters to 1,390 liters by folding down the rear backrest with its 40:20:40 split. Additionally, the MINI Shadow Edition can turn any scenic spot into a seating area with its unique Picnic Bench that folds out of the luggage compartment. The Automatic Tailgate combined with the Comfort Access System allows for easy opening and closing of the boot.

The MINI Shadow Edition prioritizes safety with features such as Cruise Control, Park Distance Control, and a Rear View Camera.
