BMW India has confirmed that it will bring the Mini to India. The company will bring to India the Mini Cooper and Countryman models from the range in early 2011. The brand will have its own exclusive retail showrooms, where the car will be sold at a price upwards of Rs 20 lakh. BMW India, like all other BMW India-assembled BMW cars will assemble the Mini in Chennai. The new car will feature a 1.6-litre force inducted motor capable of dishing out 180 horses and 260Nm of torque.
The Mini is a distinctive looking machine and will really appeal to those with a taste.
