Hyundai Motor Company launched its luxury sub-brand known as Genesis late last year in the month of November.  The Genesis made its Indian debut at the 2014 Autocar Performance show after which it was showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo held earlier this year. Now, the Genesis has been spotted in the city of Bengaluru.

If Hyundai plans to launch the Genesis in India, the luxury sedan will become the flagship product for the company, the tag of which, was held earlier by the Sonata before the model was discontinued owing to poor sales. The current flagship model for Hyundai India is the Elantra. The spotting of this Genesis is sure to wake up its rival companies as the Genesis will be a complete luxury package packed with premium features at a comparatively affordable price.
