Benelli TNT 25 India launch to happen on 18th December

The Benelli TNT 25, which was unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan this year, is scheduled for a launch in India on 18th December. The TNT 25 will come to India through the CKD route and will be assembled at the DSK Motowheels plant in Pune.

Powering the TNT 25 will be a 249.2 cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine that produces  a peak power of 24.1 hp at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 21.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm. This engine will be mated to a 6 speed transmission. 41 mm upside down forks at the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear take care of the suspension duties. The top speed of the bike stands at 145 km/ph.

Coming to the dimensions, the bike measures 2,080 in length, 1,090 mm in length, 805 mm in width, and has a wheelbase size of 1,385 mm. Braking duties are performed by a 280 mm single disc upfront and a 240 mm single disc at the rear while ABS could come as an optional feature. The console of the TNT 25 features a digital analogue display while the looks might remind you of the Duke 200.

Once launched in India, the TNT will lock horns with the Honda CBR 250R, the Mahindara Mojo, the KTM Duke 200 and the RC200. The bike is expected to be priced around the Rs. 2 lakh mark.
