Korean auto giant Hyundai has finally unveiled the highly anticipated Hyundai ix25 compact SUV at the ongoing Beijing Auto Show (Auto China).

The new Hyundai ix25 launch in China is likely to happen in second half of this year and the new model will be produced locally for the Chinese car market. The latest Hyundai SUV, in words of Hyundaim has been “strategically developed for China” and measures 4,270 millimeters in length, 1,780mm in width and 1,630mm in height. The car has a wheelbase of 2,590mm in length and powering this model is a two litre petrol engine. Exact engine specifications haven’t yet been revealed.
The exterior design of the new Hyundai ix25 features the new Hyundai Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language, which can be seen on the Hyundai Genesis. CLICK HERE to read our previous report on the Hyundai Genesis.Thanks to the Fluidic Sculpture 2.0, the new ix25 appears more aggressive and dynamic than most Hyundai SUVs we know of. The front end of the car is characterized by a hexagonal grille, LED-lined headlamps, large foglight enclosures and a silver faux skid plate. When viewed in profile, first to catch our attention are the blacked out A and B pillars, which impart a touch of sportiness to the vehicle. The rear end though, is far less dramatic and is marked bu a stepped tailgate and exhaust tips integrated into the rear bumper.
