Bajaj Dominar 400 with dual channel ABS spotted ahead of launch

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is just a few days away from its launch and what we have here are a few more images of the most powerful product from the Bajaj stable yet. Seen at a local dealership in India, the images reveal the Dominar 400 in a shade of blue as seen in some of the previous spy images.

What makes the Dominar 400 in these images different from the ones in the previous shots is the fact that the model seen here comes equipped with dual channel ABS. A few other highlights of the model include a fully digital yet split instrument cluster, full LED headlamps (first in segment and first Indian motorcycle with the feature) and blue back-lit switchgear.

Coming to the instrument cluster, the primary display mounted on the handlebar displays the rpm, speed, trip computer, fuel gauge while the secondary display mounted on the fuel tank has the tell tale lights for side-stand and ABS and the Bajaj logo among others. The 5 spoke split spoke rims of the Dominar 400 come wrapped in MRF tubeless tyres.

When compared to the CS 400 concept displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo, the model misses out on the USD fork setup up-front while the disc brake, which was positioned to the left side of the front tyre, is now positioned to the right hand side. Prices for the Dominar 400, although unconfirmed, are likely to start at INR 1.8 lakh for the model equipped with single-channel ABS and INR 2.2 lakh for the model equipped with dual-channel ABS (all prices, on-road, Delhi).
