The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 will soon be available in a new colour to choose from. To be called ‘Cocktail Wine Red’, the new colour will join the existing ones; namely ‘Divine Black’ and the recently launched ‘Desert Gold‘. However, the leaked image, for reasons unknown, does not appear to have a windscreen that the Cruise 220 comes standard with. The cruiser gets the new red shade on the front wheel fender, fuel tank, side panels and the rear section. Unlike the dark brown seat upholstery on the ‘Desert Gold’ coloured version, the latest colour will give company to the standard black seat upholstery.
The new ‘Cocktail Wine Red’ coloured Avenger Cruise 220 is expected to come with no price hike, and should retail for INR 83,197 (Ex-Showroom Maharashtra). No mechanical changes are expected either, which means that this Avenger Cruise 220 will be powered by the 220 cc DTS-i engine. The twin-spark single-cylinder engine, paired to a 5-speed transmission, is rated at 18.76 hp @ 8,400 rpm, along with 17.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Weighing in at 150 kg (dry), the Avenger Cruise 220 measures 2,177 mm in length, 806 mm in width and 1,142 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 1,490 mm, while ground clearance stands at 169 mm.
