Bajaj Avenger 400 Render Imagines What The Actual Bike Might Look Like

Earlier this year, Bajaj Auto’s MD, Rajiv Bajaj had mentioned during an interview that the manufacturer had plans to launch a new product each under the umbrella of all its sub-brands – CT, Platina, Discover, V, Avenger, Pulsar, and the Bajaj Dominar by the end of FY-18. Most of the bikes mentioned here have been updated for this year already, except for the Dominar and the Avenger. Reports suggest that a bigger, more powerful Bajaj Avenger 400 is on the cards. On the other hand, the bike which it will borrow its motor from, the Dominar, will probably be launched in a Scrambler avatar or the update could just be a new paint scheme.

Already, a neat looking render of the Bajaj Avenger 400 imagines what the most powerful laidback Bajaj could look like. Since it will be powered by the Dominar 400’s 373cc motor, changes will have to be made to the existing frame and that has been considered here too. We like how the rear fender curves above the rear wheel to keep things neat and compact at the back. An all-black theme has been adopted and red pin striping around the wheels and the bodywork do announce a go-fast intent. Since this bike will be capable of high enough speeds, a headlight nacelle has been fitted to deflect oncoming wind.

Under the Bajaj Dominar 400’s fuel tank, the 373cc motor remains good for 35 PS at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6,500 clicks. Whenever it does propel the Bajaj Avenger 400, we expect power delivery characteristics to change in order to suit the bike’s cruiser image better. Or things might just carry over unchanged. Like all other Bajaj products, expect their most powerful cruiser till date to be priced aggressively and going by the number of Street 150 and 220 examples we see on the roads each day, this one could fly out of the showrooms just as fast.
