Indian motorcycle maker Bajaj Auto Ltd has announced that it registered a 2 percent growth in sales for September 2013. The bike maker sold 367,815 units in September this year, 2% more than 360,152 units sold in same month last year. Compared to Sept 2012, the bike maker sold 3 per cent more motorcycles and 2 percent lesser commercial vehicles in September 2013.
In september 2012, the bike maker sold as many as 10000 units of its very popular Pulsar brand of motorcycles. Exports too were up by 10 percent in September 2013. With this, the manufacturer posted its highest ever export figures for the month of September. The cumulative sales figures too were the second highest sales figures ever posted by BAL in month of September.
