Autonomous Emergency Braking to become mandatory in Europe

Come 2014 and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) will become mandatory for every car on sale in Europe to be eligible for a 5 star rating at Euro NCAP crash tests. The organization feels that the use of this system will reduce the chances of front-end impacts and pedestrian injuries. Philippe Jean of the European Commission recently made an announcement that all commercial vehicles must be equipped with AEB by November 2013. A study from European Commission shows that AEB-equipped vehicles are less prone to traffic accidents by 27 per cent which translates into prevention of 8,000 deaths and savings of $6.05bn-$9.7bn every year.

  3. Look closely u can see an EON in it. See the bottom grill its exacltly similar to EON. Also see the headlight, strikingly similar to EON. It is clear that EON is designed with Elantra/Avanza in mind, in other words they have squezed this car to fit EON's dimensions.

    Family look to blame ??
