Auto Expo 2018: New Honda CBR250R Unveiled; Features LED Headlight, Updated Graphics And Two New Colours

While we were hoping to see the new, dual-eyed CBR250R in India, Honda 2Wheelers surprised us by retaining the styling of the original quarter-litre motorcycle. So while the motorcycle draws inspiration from the rich CBR lineage, the new 2018 variants features all-LED headlamp with position lamps, 2-channel ABS, completely new graphics and 2 new colour options (Mars Orange and Striking Green).

The motorcycle retains the Pearl Sports Yellow, Sports Red and Vibrant Orange (Repsol) colour options.

Mechanically, the motorcycle continues to use the 249.6cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SI engine that’s tuned to deliver 26.5 PS of power @ 8500 rpm and 22.9 Nm of torque @ 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. Stopping power is provided by a 296mm disc upfront and a 220mm disc at the rear.

Suspension tasks are performed by the conventional telescopic suspension at the front and Pro-Link Monoshock at the rear. Check out more technical specifications in the image below (click to expand):
