In addition to the new Bonneville range, Tiger series and some of the best models from its line up, Triumph India also showcased this customized Bonneville Scrambler by Rajputana Custom. Jaipur-based Rajputana Custom took a previous gen Bonneville, and created their own interpretation of a scrambler, and must we say, it has turned out pretty splendid. The bike was not made specifically for the show, and it has been showcased earlier at India Bike Week 2015 in Goa. It’s a visual delight, nonetheless.
The head-lamps the previous gen Bonneville have been replaced with a shield, along with a set of dual, asymmetrically placed projector lamps. Elsewhere, the bike dons a matte grey paint. Rajputana Custom have not tinkered with the tank, side panels, frame and other cycle parts, which remain stock. The seat and the high-mounted, twin exhausts have been customized and take you back in time. The front and rear fenders are also new additions
At the rear, the bike gets a new asymmetrically placed single, round tail lamp. The stock wheels have been replaced and now wear knobby tires to lend a go-anywhere look to the motorcycle. Rounding things off are a motocross-styled handlebar, off-road grips, scrambler levers and foot pegs.
Powering this beautiful creation 865cc parallel-twin, air-cooled, DOHC engine with 68 PS of power at 7500 rpm mated to a five speed transmission. Check out the image gallery of this beauty below.
