Fiat India has launched the Punto Pure at the Auto Expo 2016 today, with prices starting from INR 4.49 lakh. This car is essentially the erstwhile Grande Punto which has been brought back from the dead. Fiat has now positioned the Punto Pure as their entry vehicle in the B segment with an affordable price.
Fiat India has launched the Punto Pure in two variants: a 1.3 L Multi-jet diesel engine producing 76 PS @4000 rpm and generating 197 Nm of torque @ 1750 rpm and a 1.2 L FIRE petrol engine producing 68 PS @ 6000 rpm and generating 96 Nm of torque @ 2500 rpm. While the petrol variant will retail for INR 4.49 lakh, the diesel variant will go for INR 5.59 lakh – both prices ex-showroom New Delhi.
The Fiat Punto Pure measures 3987 mm long, 687 mm wide and 1495 mm high. The car comes standard with 14″ steel wheels and black colored ORVMs and door handles. The bumpers are body coloured and there are rear fog lamps present. Other features include Programmable Follow Me Home Headlamps, My Car settings, Flat Blade wipers and a Fire Prevention System. The Fiat Punto Pure will be available in three eclectic colours: Exotica Red, Hip Hop Black and White.
