We are reporting LIVE from Auto Expo 2014 and seen here are fresh images of the new Maruti Suzuki SX4 S-Cross crossover. The SX4 S-Cross is basically the crossover variant of the SX4 we all know of. As can be seen in these images, the SX4 crossover looks quite similar to the one on sale in many European markets and at first glance, looks like a large hatchback on stilts.

The car rides on new design alloy wheels, has a faux skid plate, new fog lamp inserts and a revised grille. When seen in profile, the car can be seen having a hint of aluminum on the side skirts, chrome door handles, ORVMs on the side rear view mirrors, and a dash of chrome on the rub-strip.
Unveiling the SX4 Cross, along with the concpet Ciaz and SX4-Cross, Mr. Toshihiro Suzuki, Executive Vice President, Suzuki Motor Corporation said, “The two cars that we unveil today follow the footsteps of the iconic Suzuki Swift. These models are designed to meet the varied requirements of discerning customers around the world.While the SX4 S-CROSS is a real crossover with authentic performance, the Concept CIAZ is designed to meet the growing demand in C-Segment market in India, China and elsewhere.”
On the occasion Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “Concept CIAZ and SX4 S-CROSS are two premium segment global offerings. This rich line up will strengthen our product portfolio and prepare us for the future.”
