We have already reported a fair bit about the recently conducted Auto Expo 2014 and among the vast range of cars and bikes shown at this year’s motor show was this Corvette C7 supercar, which greeted us at the Chevrolet stall. The Chevrolet Corvette India debut took place alongside that of the Camaro ZL1 retro-styled muscle car. While we were excited about our rendezvous with these two models, it is sad to know that none of these are coming to India anytime soon and were showcased as a part of a brand building exercise by Chevrolet India

The Chevrolet Corvette C7 made its public debut at the Detroit Motor Show last month and here are all the details of the new car. The exterior styling of the new model draws inspiration from the 2009 Corvette Stingray Concept and the interiors of the C7 consist of a driver focused dashboard layout and red leather upholstery with carbon fibre trim.
Powering the Corvette C7 is a 450bhp-609Nm V8 motor that enables the car to dismiss 100kmph from standstill in less than 4 seconds. New age features like cylinder deactivation technology leads to 11kmpl and low emissions to keep the green brigade happy.
