Audi is inching closer to the top of Indian luxury car segment. Audi India not just threatens to replace BMW from the top of the Indian premium car market; it also wishes to establish a huge lead over its immediate rivals viz. BMW & Mercedes Benz.
Talking about one of the highest selling vehicles in the Audi India line up, the Q5 has been playing the perfect younger sibling to the big brother Q7 and we posted when the Q5 got a minor plastic surgery sometime back.
We have nothing but good words to say about Audi India being quick in bringing the updated car to our market and the Q5 facelift was introduced to us earlier today!
While the refreshed Q5 might look similar to the outgoing car to an unknowing eye, the difference lies in headlamps which now come with a new LED motif. The Audi Q5 PI ( PI is the internal speak for Product Improvement in Audi) also gets a slightly different six-point grille, and a different front bumper.
The 2013 Audi Q5 PI also gets an electrical power steering system that replaces the hydraulic power steering on duty in the current car. The chassis too gets some revisions for better ride quality. The car also comes with comes with an updated infotainment system and assistance systems.
Audi claims that all the variants of the updated car are 15% more fuel efficient.
The Q5 facelift goes on sale for a starting price of INR 43.16 lakhs (ex showroom, Delhi).
