We reported in detail when Force India launched the EX variant of their One SUV few days back. As always, we have compiled all the details about the car and also seen here are some pics of the One EX.
The new EX base variant is powered by a 2.6 litre BS3 diesel engine which has a (much) reduced max power of 82 PS and a peak torque of 230 Nm. The new EX variant of the force one SUV is not BS4 compliant, which means it isn’t on sale in metro cities. However, the new base variant is primarily targeted at tier 2 and tier 3 towns, where the One has got a good response from car buyer.
The price of the Force One EX variant is Rs 8.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Pune).
The entry level EX variant is has to make do with absence of many features such as LED DRLs, alloy wheels, roof rails, rear wash/wipe, defogger, audio system, driver’s seat height adjustment, remote central locking, reverse parking sensors, ABS, cruise control, etc.
However, the new SX does get the new Moondust Silver exterior paint-shade option.
It would be interesting to see if the new, less priced, Force One manages to make its manufacturer a prominent player in this segment.
