British performance car maker Aston Martin is celebrating 100 years of its existence this year and has decided to please its fans with something really special on this occasion. It is being said that the car maker might unveil a “very special concept” this year. The company has already mentioned about this in a short video on its official YouTube account.

The 26 second video clip has been titled as the “Aston Martin – Past, Present, Future – 19th May 2013” and begins with pics of the legendary Aston Martin DBR1, the car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959.

This short video clip also shows a person drawing sketches of a sports car. The end of this clip shows two silhouettes of roadsters on a black background. While the one on the right looks strikingly similar to the DBR1, the other might be an upcoming car with styling which is inspired by that of the DBR1.

As per the video description, the other car here is an “Aston Martin which celebrates our centenary year, encompassing the past, present and future in one exceptional design.”

The new car will be unveiled on May 19 (tomorrow) at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the Mecca of sportscars and track driver. This is the same race track where many Aston Martins, including the Rapide S that runs both on hydrogen and gasoline, will compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Safely expect us to report in detail tomorrow, when Aston Martin unveils the new car.
