2023 Kia EV6 To Be Back On April 15

Kia India has officially announced that customer bookings for the 2023 version of the EV6 will commence in the Indian market from 15th April this year. The South Korean car manufacturer will also be expanding its dealer network to 60 outlets in 44 cities. Until now, the electric crossover was sold via 15 outlets of Kia across just 12 cities.

But thanks to the overwhelming response received from the customers, Kia managed to sell 432 units of the EV6. This was 4 times more than the batch of 100 cars that the brand had initially allocated for the Indian market.

About The 2023 Kia EV6

The 2023 Kia EV6 is available in two variants: GT Line and GT Line AWD at an ex-showroom price of Rs 60.95 lakh and Rs 65.95 lakh respectively.

The EV6 is equipped with ADAS, an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, two 12.3-inch screens, eight airbags, a powered driver seat, a heads-up display, and an electric tailgate.

Based on the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the Kia EV6 can be had in RWD and AWD variants, both of which are powered by the same 77.4kWh battery pack. The permanent magnet synchronous motor puts out 226bhp in RWD configuration while the AWD version churns out a healthy 321bhp.

Its battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes via a fast 350kW DC charger. The claimed mileage of the EV6 is 708 kms on a fully charged battery.
