After a long wait, Yamaha launched the highly anticipated R15 V3.0 during the 2018 Auto Expo held in Delhi earlier this month. The new R15 comes equipped with an updated engine and a few new features. Let us tell you all that we know about the 2018 R15 yet:

For 2018, the Yamaha R15 V3.0 comes equipped with LED headlamps, LED tail lights and a fully digital instrument cluster. Suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by conventional telescopic forks at the front (international model receives USD forks) at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Braking is aided by a 282mm disc and a 220mm disc at the front and rear respectively. The company will also offer a ‘Racing Kit’ that will include Metzeler tyres, frame sliders and a Daytona muffler.
2018 Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 Engine And Performance
Powering the all new Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 is an updated version of its 155cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine with Variable Valve Activation (VVA) and Assist and Slipper Clutch. This engine is capable of producing a power output of 19.3 PS at 10,000 rpm and 15 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. This engine is paired to a six speed transmission.
