Now, the folks at Nevon Projects have developed something similar for motorcycles. Nevon fingerprint bike starter kit is aimed to give you the convenience to start your motorcycle without the need of a key. With the kit installed, owners can start their two-wheeler using just a fingerprint scan. It also allows for multiple user registration. Apart from the convenience of the keyless start, the system also features a anti-theft and anti-towing notification that will alert the owner through an text message and allow the vehicle to be tracked.

Are there any drawbacks? You will have to take off your gloves every time you need to start or stop the engine. Moreover, while the system gets a anti-theft feature, you’d still have to use the key to lock the handlebar.
