2017 Honda CBR500R and CB500F Get New Color Options

The 2017 Honda CBR500R and CB500F have received a new colour option for the Malaysian market. For 2017, both motorcycles get the new Lemon Ice Yellow scheme. The Millennium Red and Matte Gunpowder Black are carried over from the previous year. Apart from the visual upgrade in form of graphics, there are no changes to the motorcycles.

As aforementioned, there are no mechanical changes to the motorcycles and both, the CBR500R and CB500F use the same 471 cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled parallel twin PGM-Fi engine tuned to deliver 46.9 hp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. Anchoring duties are performed by a 320 mm disc upfront and 240 mm disc at the rear.
