Honda BR-V Indonesia

At the ongoing 2016 Indonesia Auto Show (GIIAS), Honda introduced the BR-V Prestige and Modulo variants. While the Prestige variant is the range topping offering, the Modulo variant, based on the Prestige itself, is the sportier offering, strictly cosmetically. Both variants are yet to be offered in India. The Prestige variant showcased features a lustrous green paint-job that looks particularly choice, but isn’t offered in India yet. On the outside, the top-end variant gets embellishments like a chrome front lip, chrome finished fog light bezels, new alloy wheels, chrome side sills, a chrome applique at the back and a bigger rear spoiler.

The Modulo deletes the front chrome lip from the Prestige, but adds chrome accents on the ORVM housings, side foot boards, “Modulo” decals on the lower part of the doors, chrome door handles, and Modulo door sills. Like the Prestige, the BR-V Modulo comes equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, multi-function steering wheel, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, etc. In Indonesia, the Mobilio is powered by the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which develops 120 PS and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-MT or a CVT with paddle shifters.
