The highly anticipated Renegade range by UM Motorcycles – the Indian arm of the American motorcycle maker, UM International, LLC along with Lohia Auto will be finally launched at the 2016 Auto Expo. The American motorcycle brand is all set for a debut in India on 3rd February 2016 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. The bike maker will launch their cruiser bike range comprising of the Renegade Sport S, Renegade Commando and Renegade Classic and the bookings will be open at the Auto Expo event itself.
All the three bikes, Renegade Sport S, Commando and Classic, will be powered by the same 279 cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine that will produce 25 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a torque of 21.8 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The power will be pushed to the rear wheels by a six-speed transmission.
On the upcoming occasion Mr. Rajeev Mishra – Director – UM India & AMEA (Asia, Middle East, and Africa), said that the company is excited to launch the Renegade range of cruisers, which have been designed and customized for the Indian market.The makers claim that the Renegade series comprises of high quality, world class cruisers which are built to tackle the diverse Indian terrain with ease and finesse and all of that at affordable prices.
