What we have here are probably the first clear spy pics of the next generation Ssangyong Rodius. The Rodius was first launched in 2004 and is a spacious MPV with huge proportions. The Ssangyong Rodius has been (in)famous for its styling and the car brought a lot of negative criticism to the Korean auto maker.
The styling of the next generation Rodius seems to be a breath of fresh air on comparison with the current model and unlike the current model; the upcoming car is far from being an eyesore. The front fascia gets gigantic headlamps, an intimidating grill and a small air dam. The rear end is far from being bland and gets stylish tail lamps and integrated reflectors on the bumper.
Powering the car could be a 2.0 litre, 155 bhp oil burner that powers the Korando and the Actyon. The 2014 Ssangyong Rodius will be unveiled in late 2013/early 2014 and might come to India to battle it out against the recently launched Nissan Evaila.
